Authentic Chilean Merkén from Patagonia
Our merkén is a traditional Mapuche seasoning from southern Chile, rooted in ancestral culinary practices that have shaped this spice for generations.
It is made from cacho de cabra (goat’s horn) chili peppers, which are carefully sun-dried, slowly smoked over a wood fire, and finely ground following time-honored Mapuche methods. The blend is completed with toasted coriander and sea salt, creating a balanced, complex, and deeply aromatic flavor.
All ingredients are sourced from regions historically connected to ancestral lands, ensuring authenticity, traceability, and respect for cultural heritage.
